Quimby Gallery Putting on an Art Show
The Quimby gallery is having an open art show this week, and the artist, Jeff Case, a professor of digital media here at LSC, has been working long and hard on the pieces he will be exhibiting in the gallery.
The art show has been named Off the Fence and is opening Feb. 12 at 6:00 p.m. The show will be running from Feb. 15 all the way to March 16.
“On average we have about 25 people show up to openings,” Barclay Tucker, chairman of the Visual Arts department says. “That is considered good.” Tucker also pointed out that there will be cheese at the art show as refreshment for anyone who wishes to come to the show.
"My work for this show is mixed media work, mostly illustrations," Case said. "But I will also be presenting a digital piece." Case welcomes everyone to his art show and encourages anyone interested in art to attend.
